down
HEMA only uses down with an RDS (Responsible Down Standard) mark or GRS (Global Recycled Standard) mark. These are certifications from the Textile Exchange.
The down comes from ducks or geese that have been raised for food production and are thereby kept in accordance with RDS guidelines. With this certificate, the focus is on the welfare of the animals. Down is highly insulating and retains its warmth.
