HEMA signs the International Accord
Amsterdam, 30 August 2021 - On 30 August 2021, HEMA signed the International Accord, a follow-up to the Bangladesh Accord. With this we are committing ourselves to continue with the agreements of the original Bangladesh Accord: HEMA previously signed the Bangladesh Accord in 2013 and the Transition Accord in 2018. This initiative has been successful in recent years, and safety measures have been implemented and monitored in factories in Bangladesh. HEMA is highly motivated to continue striving for continuous improvement in the factories that make HEMA products. The International Accord will enter into force on 1 September 2021.
